We all seek happiness, but each of us defines it differently.
Happiness…
…for a wife, it is being loved, cared for, and attended to by her husband.
…for an employee, it is recognition from superiors and appreciation from colleagues.
…for a child, it is receiving care, listening, and understanding from parents.
…for a grandfather or grandmother, it is seeing children and grandchildren gathered in unity.
And there are many other kinds of happiness, named and unnamed, complex and simple,… But all that joy arises from the mind. When our mind is truly full, whole, and compassionate, we can receive everything appropriately; we call that bliss — a pure, loving state of mind.
That is also the key to resolving suffering and pain truly from within.
May you always be peaceful and steadfast on the journey of opening consciousness!
