AWAKENING MEDITATION

A method supporting awareness, inner balance, and the nurturing of peace and joy

OVERVIEW

Awakening Meditation is a practice that helps you return to yourself, listen to your breath, observe thoughts and emotions, and nurture presence in every moment.

Through gentle steps of practice, you receive support in centering yourself, calming the mind, connecting with inner wisdom, and deepening self-understanding. This method suits those who want to care for their mental and spiritual lives, develop inner strength, and live more mindfully at work, in relationships, and in everyday life.

Awakening Meditation does not aim to create a special state or force practitioners to achieve immediate results. Its focus is to help you gradually learn to pause, observe, listen, and return to the peace already within.

HIGHLIGHTS

Awakening Meditation supports practitioners in:
  • Slow down and connect with the breath.
  • Observe thoughts, emotions, and inner states.
  • Nurture greater peace, clarity, and steadiness.
  • Develop the ability to listen to yourself.
  • Build a more positive relationship with yourself and life.
  • Develop a habit of practicing awareness in daily life.
Through regular practice, you can gradually feel more clearly the connections between your body, emotions, mind, and how you are present in life.

PRACTICE STEPS

a. Prepare the space

Choose a quiet, clean, airy space suited to practice. You can turn off distracting devices, sit in gentle lighting, and create a sense of safety and comfort for yourself.

b. Prepare your posture

Sit in a comfortable position, keeping your back straight without stiffening it. Interlace your hands. What matters is that you feel stable, can breathe easily, and can maintain your attention throughout the practice.

6 STEPS OF AWAKENING MEDITATION

Step 1: Center the mind

Begin by bringing attention back to the present. You can breathe gently, feel the body and the inhale and exhale, allowing the mind to settle gradually.

At this step, you do not need to eliminate thoughts. Simply notice that thoughts are arising, then gently return to the breath and the sense of presence in your body.

Step 2: Protect your energy

Before going deeper into meditation, you are guided to establish an inner circle of protection. This step helps you establish steadiness, calm, and agency as you observe yourself.

You can silently remind yourself that you are practicing with awareness and self-respect, accepting only what suits your healthy development.

Step 3: Connect with the Inner Teacher

At this step, you are invited to connect with the deep wisdom within yourself, also called the “Inner Teacher.”

This is not imposing a fixed belief, but listening to intuition, sensing inner clarity, and opening yourself to positive suggestions from within. Through this, you can better understand your emotions, lessons, and a suitable direction for yourself in the present.

Step 4: Integrate the lessons

You take time to reflect on recent experiences, emotions, or lessons in life. Instead of judging what happened as good or bad, you are invited to observe: what is this experience helping me understand about myself?

This step helps you transform experience into understanding, gratitude, and the ability to live with greater awareness in your next choices.

Step 5: Connect with Source Mind

You are guided to feel a deeper connection with life, nature, people, and the broader flow of existence.
This step nurtures a sense that you are not separate, but part of the whole. From there, you can feel greater peace, support, and inner harmony.

Step 6: Love shines

Finally, you return to the heart, nurturing gratitude, love, and kindness toward yourself and those around you.

This step helps expand inner gentleness, supporting a daily life with more empathy, compassion, and connection.

SUGGESTED PRACTICE PROCESS

Beginners can practice for 5–15 minutes daily. As you become more familiar, gradually increase to 20, 30, or 45 minutes, or longer, according to your needs and capacity.

You can practice through live guidance, instructional videos, or independently after understanding the basic steps. What matters is not how long you practice, but consistency, sincerity, and the ability to return to listening to yourself.
